Humanitarian
Forgivable Loan Program

A U.S. Private Foundation initiative to support non-profit organizations in partner countries.

About the Program

This program enables a U.S. Private Foundation to donate assets to non-profit organizations operating in countries that maintain commercial partnerships with the United States. Additionally, the program extends its support to projects undertaken in collaboration with the Federal Governments of authorized nations.

In return for these asset donations, the Foundation receives a tax receipt, allowing it to claim tax benefits exclusively under U.S. laws.

To ensure proper execution, the donation is structured as a Forgivable Loan, meaning the Foundation can only finalize the donation once the designated works and/or equipment have been fully completed and delivered.
